Cornell University boosts RFI completions to 830 with Fundamental Media

Cornell University faced the challenge of generating qualified leads for 12 different graduate programs while managing a strict budget and navigating the significant audience overlap between the campaigns. The university partnered with Fundamental Media to deliver these leads through specific targeting and to efficiently manage the co-existing campaign budgets within the same media landscape.

Fundamental Media implemented a strategy focused on the slight differences between each program's audience, employing a wide media mix that included YouTube, out-of-home display, audio, programmatic display, and targeted email. By leveraging first-party data and firmographic targeting from its sister company Alphix Solutions, Fundamental Media ran concurrent, targeted campaigns that successfully co-existed. This solution resulted in 830 RFI completions for FY23, a 37.2% increase in CTR, and a reduced cost per active view of $17.
