Memorial Health System, a not‑for‑profit health system in southeastern Ohio with two hospitals, outpatient services and more than 59 clinics, struggled with fragmented education-request intake and inconsistent nursing-unit practices. The Education & Professional Development team relied on Microsoft Outlook for time tracking and manual monthly tallies, which led to duplicated requests, poor communication and no reliable way to confirm requests were completed on time.
