In-Depth Training Provides Deeper Engagement With System

Parcel Design is a 15-person, Toronto-based brand strategy and communication design firm known for integrated identity, print, digital and packaging work. Although they’d used Function Point as their project-management system for seven years, leadership found many staff were only using timesheets, staff were unsure they were using the system optimally, and the estimate/invoicing workflow had become cluttered with too many service groups.

Function Point delivered focused onsite training that broke the day into module-specific sessions, customized dashboards (for example for partner Julie Mitchell), and hands-on Q&A and productivity coaching. The training streamlined invoicing by reducing service groups and enabling batch dockets, increased staff confidence and engagement with the system, and made project tracking, time capture and productivity analysis faster and more accurate — ultimately simplifying and improving almost every process.
