Blackbaud, the leading cloud software company serving the nonprofit sector, needed better ways to activate the people in its clients’ databases despite small staffs and tight budgets. With evidence that 66% of charities fear missing digital fundraising opportunities, Blackbaud turned to FullContact’s identity resolution and social-data matching (inherited via its Attentively acquisition) to fill gaps in donor records and identify who in a donor base could amplify a cause.

Using FullContact to append social handles and enrich contact records, Blackbaud helped clients uncover influencers and social reach inside their databases. Results included American Friends Service Committee generating at least 74 donations from a single Google Hangout and a multiple sclerosis bike race that identified 27 micro-influencers who drove 105+ new registrations and $200,000 in fundraising (a 5.25% participant uplift); overall Blackbaud has enriched billions of contact records with FullContact’s social insights to improve engagement and fundraising outcomes.
