Legacy Fire Apparatus - Customer Case Study

Legacy Fire Apparatus, a Shorewood, IL-based fire apparatus repair shop founded in 2014 by Ben and Jennifer Brown, struggled with paper-based workflows, clipboards and QuickBooks that left parts untracked and invoicing delayed. After evaluating several options, they chose Fullbay to replace fax- and paper-dependent processes and to manage parts, service orders and billing in a single system.

Fullbay’s shop management platform put parts ordering into the technicians’ workflow, added tablet and mobile access, a customer portal, and automatic conversion of service orders to invoices. As a result, Legacy Fire Apparatus now bills for all parts used (“saving us thousands of dollars”), has steadier cash flow and improved profitability, and is rolling Fullbay out at its new Cedar Rapids location after adopting Fullbay in November 2017.
