GeoForce Utility Technologies, originally a GIS software provider that pivoted to field services, needed to manage widely varying client data formats and platforms, speed up emergency storm response, maintain remote quality control, and ensure safety compliance across a large Eastern U.S. territory with a relatively small team.
By switching to iPads and Fulcrum (integrated with SQL) and using workflow automation, GeoForce standardized field data collection, gave clients real-time read-only access, automated hazard reporting, and stored training materials and acknowledgements in-app. The outcome: faster, more accurate reporting and emergency response, flexible delivery of client-specific data, better remote supervision and safety compliance, and the ability to grow territory without significantly increasing headcount.
