City of Wyoming inventories 22,000 water records and modernizes billing with Fulcrum

The City of Wyoming, Michigan faced a state-mandated task to inventory its water distribution system and modernize its aging meter and billing infrastructure. With over 20,000 service lines, the city needed a solution to organize material data, support an Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) rollout, and integrate with existing systems. They turned to vendor Fulcrum for its field data collection platform.

Fulcrum provided a configurable system for gathering GPS-located data and photos in the field. The solution streamlined the inventory process, enabling easy data collection by field staff and setting the stage for automated data transfer to billing and work order systems. The City of Wyoming anticipates significant time savings from reduced manual entry and has already benefited from improved data accuracy and speed during site visits thanks to Fulcrum.
