A Fujitsu RunMyProcess Case Study
Kiloutou, France’s largest construction equipment rental company, faced inefficient, error-prone manual workflows for travel requests and new-equipment testing. Travel coordination relied on a two-person team handling about 100 weekly trips via phone, fax and email, causing missing data, double submissions and no manager notifications, while equipment evaluations were tracked in a single Excel file that risked overwrites, lacked chronology and made scheduling and analysis difficult.
Kiloutou implemented cloud-based Fujitsu RunMyProcess applications: a travel-request app (rolled out in 2013 to 3,200+ users) that auto-fills employee data, enforces complete submissions, provides approval notifications and real-time dashboards; and a 10-step equipment-testing workflow (deployed in 2012) that assigns tasks, links reports, tracks progress and timestamps results. The apps eliminated follow-up calls, standardized requests, improved transparency and accuracy, enabled process analytics, reduced scheduling conflicts, sped up validation (330 tests recorded in the first year) and allowed Kiloutou to build additional automated workflows.
