CNIEL, the French dairy industry association representing major sector organizations, faced inaccurate and fragmented budget tracking driven by a manual Excel-based process. Departments routinely exchanged spreadsheets that mixed invoices, quotes and contracts — making it hard to consolidate data, control reservations versus payments, and produce reliable forecasts — so CNIEL sought a cloud-based budgeting solution after migrating to Google Apps.

Working with RunMyProcess, CNIEL deployed a cloud application that integrates with Google OpenID to manage orders, expense reports, supplier contracts and short-term employment requests with automated approvals, budget reservations and real-time deductions. The system centralized workflows, automated the handling of thousands of invoices, improved budgeting accuracy and transparency, cut processing time and eliminated server and infrastructure costs.
