Planet 9 launches Neelo in half the time at 10% of the cost with Fueled

Planet 9 Studio came to Fueled with a validated prototype for Neelo, a gamified iPad app designed to teach children essential life skills. The challenge was to rebuild this prototype into a scalable, production-ready product without sacrificing the speed advantages of AI-assisted development, as the initial codebase had become unreliable and difficult to extend.

Fueled rebuilt the app from the ground up using an AI-first approach, employing Flutter for the client application to ensure a custom, animated UI and future cross-platform potential. By embedding disciplined product and engineering standards into the AI-driven workflow, Fueled delivered a polished, secure app. The result was that Neelo was soft-launched in about half the time and at roughly 10% of the cost compared to similar pre-2025 projects, enabling Planet 9 to bring its product to market quickly and cost-effectively.
