Texas Health Resources, one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit health care systems in the U.S., needed to simplify its manual Career Development Plan (CDP) step in the Tuition Reimbursement program, which consumed roughly 20% of one full‑time employee’s time and limited employee ownership of career development. To modernize the process the organization partnered with Fuel50 and adopted the CareerDrive portal and a customized Career Development Inventory (CDI) built into the site.
Fuel50’s CareerDrive and CDI gave employees a single, intranet‑accessible hub for career development and replaced the manual CDP, enabling real‑time verification of the tuition reimbursement career step. The program eliminated the 20% administrative burden, drove adoption (registration milestones rising to over 4,000 users), increased user usage from 2% to 16.8%, and 91% of users found the site easy to locate and use.
