Tufts Health Plan, a nonprofit health insurer focused on member well-being and community health, wanted a better way to connect directly with members and overcome the often impersonal reputation of the insurance industry. To support this goal, the organization turned to Fuel Cycle and its online community platform to create a space where members could share feedback, feel heard, and engage with a real team that genuinely cares.
Fuel Cycle helped Tufts Health Plan launch “Your Voice,” a branded member community that combined qualitative and quantitative research tools such as discussion boards, live chats, quick polls, and surveys. The result was a more efficient, lower-cost way to gather timely insights and build deeper member profiles over time, with measurable engagement including 1,000+ members, 12 activities, 89 quick polls, and 3,130 survey completes.
