Top-Ten U.S. Foodservice Distributor needed a better way to manage customer payments, improve security, and reduce the inefficiencies of siloed accounts receivable processes. The company partnered with FTNI and adopted FTNI’s ETran ePayments module to launch a fully hosted online payment portal with electronic bill presentment and payment, along with self-service ACH and credit card payment options.

FTNI then expanded the solution to include enhanced remote deposit capture and ETran Mobile for field-based receivables, creating a single platform for accepting, processing, posting, and reconciling payments. The distributor streamlined check processing across multiple locations, reduced PCI risk, and significantly improved cash flow, with mobile transactions reaching more than 20% of all check remittances and 11% of total payments within 90 days, while also lowering days sales outstanding.
