Golden Living, a family of healthcare companies operating hundreds of LivingCenters and assisted living communities, needed a bank-agnostic way to streamline a highly complex receivables process. With payments arriving at local facilities from patients and insurers, the company was spending time on deposit preparation, bank runs, scanning paperwork, and manually posting receipts to AR. It turned to FTNI and its ETran integrated receivables platform to find a more efficient, flexible solution.

FTNI implemented ETran to capture payments, automatically post them to AR, store payment images, and route deposits to different financial institutions based on payment type. The result was true straight-through processing, better cash access, and far less manual work for facility and central billing staff. Golden Living reported up to $3 million more per month in deposits reaching the company sooner, more than 10,000 items processed monthly, and about 80% of AR-related items posted directly to AR, saving significant time across the organization.
