UNC facilities turns to FSI to keep hospitals in good shape

UNC Health Southeastern required a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage its hospital facilities, ensure detailed compliance reporting, and maintain accreditation. The vendor FSI provided its solution, the Custom Maintenance Software (CMS), to address these operational and regulatory challenges.

The implementation of FSI's CMS gave the customer a powerful tool for coordinating work orders, running preventive maintenance, and generating compliance reports. The solution provided valuable data on facility health, helped maintain DNV GL accreditation, and served as a performance management tool for a team of 26 technicians. UNC Health Southeastern became heavily reliant on the system, with an administrator stating she was "indebted to it" for its integral role in daily operations.
