The University of Helsinki, Finland’s largest and oldest academic institution, needed a better way to serve diverse audiences across its massive website with 50,000 pages and 3 million monthly page loads. To move beyond a static, one-size-fits-all experience, the university chose Frosmo’s personalization software to support more relevant journeys for students, researchers, alumni, citizens, and other target groups.
Frosmo implemented AI-driven personalization, including personalized hero banners, A/B testing, and NLP-based content recommendations to improve discoverability and customer experience. The results have been strong: the university reports clear KPI improvements, and more than 25% of users who saw article recommendations clicked them, showing higher engagement and more relevant content delivery.
