The City of Helsinki wanted to improve digital user experiences for citizens who needed fast, intuitive access to information across a complex municipal website. Working with Frosmo, the city launched My personalized hel.fi, a personalized digital service designed to make content easier to find and more relevant to each visitor.
Frosmo implemented a headless front-end solution that combines multiple APIs, data points, and segmentation to deliver personalized event, news, and information recommendations based on geolocation or a searched address. The service shows results on both a map and a list, improving usability, accessibility, and engagement across Helsinki’s digital services.
