Rajala, a privately owned photo specialist chain with online and physical stores in Finland and Sweden, wanted to deliver more relevant customer experiences across channels. Its main challenges were irrelevant product recommendations and creating a consistent, personalized experience for both online and offline shoppers. To address this, Rajala worked with Frosmo to improve segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing using Frosmo’s personalization platform and AI-driven recommendation engine.

Frosmo helped Rajala create around 30 customer segments, personalize the front page for returning visitors, and recommend the right products and accessories at the right time in the buyer journey. The team also used the platform to test changes directly on the website, including product filtering and accessory add-ons. As a result, Rajala reported a 38% better conversion rate for visitors who saw personalized content compared with the control group, while also reducing manual merchandising effort and improving relevance.
