Alpha Foods, a Shopify online store selling protein products, wanted to test whether personalized recommendations could increase revenue per user. They partnered with Froomle to compare product recommendations against no recommendations on their webshop.

Froomle added two recommendation modules to the custom Shopify theme: “Related Products” on product detail pages and “You May Also Like” on the cart overview page. The result was strong: users who saw Froomle recommendations spent 39% more, converted 44% more often, and 4% of total webshop revenue was generated through Froomle recommendations.
