Panorama saves us an enormous amount of time, by allowing us to shape the information we want to receive

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies, based in Arvada, Colorado and founded in 1996, rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes about 300 Golden Retrievers annually (roughly 6,000 since founding). A key challenge for the nonprofit is funding costly veterinary care for its “Golden Angel” dogs with special medical or behavioral needs—they spent $154,000 on vet care in 2017—and organizing donor data to better target fundraising and outreach.

To address this, the rescue adopted FrontStream’s Panorama donor management tools and Smartlists to customize the information they receive and segment supporters. The new data views revealed an untapped geographic pocket on Colorado’s Western Slope, prompting a regional event and more focused community appeals; the result was saved staff time, stronger local engagement and improved fundraising effectiveness.
