Dream Day on Cape Cod is a Massachusetts nonprofit that gives families who have a child with a serious or life‑threatening illness a free week of traditional camp activities, focusing on the whole family’s respite and bonding. To keep growing and better serve donors, the organization runs multiple fundraisers and needed fast, effective ways to raise funds and awareness—especially after a tree damaged their camp truck and created an urgent funding and visibility challenge.
Using Panorama by FrontStream (formerly FirstGiving) and a creative social media push that quickly drew local news coverage, Dream Day launched an online campaign and mobilized its donor network. The effort raised $15,000 in one week, drove over 60% of campaign revenue online, significantly raised the charity’s profile, and helped fund an expanded camp season (adding an extra week).
