Cardinal Health Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Cardinal Health focused on improving community and population health through strategic, long-term initiatives. The foundation faced the challenge of tackling systemic problems — reducing medical errors across hospitals and combating prescription drug abuse — while scaling partnerships and measuring impact over time.

To support that work the foundation partnered with FrontStream and implemented the Panorama Workplace solution to manage programs, partners and philanthropy more effectively. The approach helped scale hospital collaborations to 100+ facilities (saving thousands of lives and millions in costs), delivered a 15:1 return on investment in other hospital efforts, and supported Generation Rx, where 95% of participants reported they would not share or misuse prescriptions.
