How Slow Motion Magic Reduced Admin Chaos

Slow Motion Magic, a nonprofit founded by David Rabotnick to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s research, was overwhelmed by the admin work behind its annual “Conjuring for a Cure” event. In 2023, the team had to manage online and in-person ticket sales, merchandise, cash donations, and online donations across multiple files and manual processes, creating late-night stress and a scramble to stay organized.

In 2024, Slow Motion Magic moved its fundraising into FrontStream, using one platform for ticketing, donations, and merchandise sales, plus automated donor thank-you letters and centralized mailing lists. FrontStream reduced manual work, eliminated the need to piece together data from multiple sources, and gave David more time to focus on volunteers, outreach, and planning; the streamlined process also helped him avoid the pre-event chaos and improved the organization’s ability to support its mission.
