A Fronius Case Study

Preview of the Huber Family Case Study

Huber Family saves EUR 2,600 and 13 tons of CO2 with Fronius

The Huber family sought to increase their energy self-sufficiency and reduce costs at their passive house in Bavaria. They chose Fronius to help expand their solar energy supply over several years, starting with a PV system and a Fronius GEN24 Plus inverter.

Fronius implemented a comprehensive solution that integrated the GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter with battery storage and the Fronius Wattpilot EV charging solution. This allowed the family to maximize the use of their self-generated solar power. The results were significant, with energy cost savings of approximately €2,600 in 2022 and a reduction of 3 tons of carbon emissions that same year, contributing to a total of 13 tons saved since 2018.
