SNS REAAL, during an enterprise-wide ALM and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) rollout, needed a test automation solution that would support their Java-based applications while preserving TFS’s central repository and collaboration features. Microsoft’s Coded UI lacked Java support, so the Microsoft project team recommended froglogic’s Squish for Java to meet those requirements.

froglogic implemented Squish for Java with out-of-the-box TFS integration and Eclipse-based IDE support, and integrated automated tests with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM). The solution delivered a robust, maintainable test automation layer that enabled Java GUI automation previously unsupported, preserved central version control and collaboration, and aligned automated testing and test results with requirements across SNS REAAL’s ALM.
