Packet Design, a Silicon Valley developer of networking route and traffic analysis solutions, needed to ensure cross-platform GUI stability across Unix, Windows and Mac OS X while avoiding time-consuming manual regression testing. To address this challenge they adopted froglogic’s Squish about two years ago as their automated GUI testing tool.

froglogic’s Squish provided cross-platform Qt support, multi-language scripting and integration with HP Quality Center, allowing Packet Design to automate roughly 500 test cases and run them automatically to detect regressions early. The result has been substantial QA time savings, more reliable releases through early regression detection, seamless test automation via HP Quality Center, and strong ongoing support from froglogic.
