American Power Conversion Corp. uses Squish for Java

American Power Conversion, a global leader in network-critical physical infrastructure, needed to decrease test cycle time and increase functional UI test coverage for its InfraStruXure product, whose user interface is built with Java Swing/AWT/RCP/SWT and runs on Linux and Windows. To address this, the team evaluated and adopted Squish for Java from froglogic to automate their GUI tests.

froglogic’s Squish delivered cross-platform GUI automation with reliable object recognition, the helpful Squish Spy, ODBC support, and prompt technical support. Since starting with Squish in June 2008, American Power Conversion has produced around 1,500 automated tests, enabling faster, broader testing across Windows and Linux and measurable improvements in test coverage and cycle time.
