UNIQA, one of the leading insurance groups in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe, was undergoing a major digital transformation to improve customer experience and future-proof growth. As part of this effort, the insurer needed a group-wide approach to anti-fraud management that could be centrally monitored from Vienna and seamlessly integrated into its new core system. FRISS provided the fraud detection solution for claims.

FRISS implemented a group-wide, automated fraud detection solution across UNIQA’s 15 countries, with predefined processes, GDPR-compliant handling, and integration into UNIQA’s claims system. The result was standardized and more efficient fraud management, faster claims handling for honest customers, and group-wide savings through better detection and prevention of fraudulent claims. UNIQA also gained centralized visibility into cross-border fraud patterns and a stronger fraud-fighting culture.
