Rejsekort, Denmark's public transport ticketing provider, sought to modernize its system and address customer demand for a more convenient, mobile-first solution. The solution implemented by Frisbii enabled the new app to allow travelers to check in and out with a single swipe on their phone across all transport types. The backend systems were optimized for high reliability and scalability, supporting automatic account top-ups and reminders. As a result, Rejsekort's new app facilitated close to 6 million travels since its launch in April 2024, significantly improving the user experience for millions of passengers.
