Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel - Customer Case Study

Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel (VRM) faced the urgent challenge of implementing a nationwide "Deutschlandticket" subscription service for public transport within an extremely tight 10-week deadline. Their existing systems were insufficient, and alternative solutions from other providers were too complex and expensive. Partnering with vendor Frisbii, VRM needed a fast and scalable subscription and payment management solution to meet the federal government's requirements.

Frisbii provided a white-label subscription management platform and a customer app, enabling VRM to launch its branded ticket solution on time. The implementation, which required no integration into legacy systems, was a success, resulting in the sale of 4,300 tickets through the new app in the first month. Frisbii's solution also provided enhanced security features and streamlined management, allowing VRM to be one of the few transport associations to meet all legal requirements for the launch.
