Achensee Tourism, the official tourism body for a popular Austrian resort destination, faced the challenge of managing tens of thousands of annual visitors. friendlyway implemented an all-in-one cloud-based platform alongside a fleet of hardware, including outdoor kiosks, interactive Impress 43 kiosks, and wall-mounted displays. The solution provided wayfinding, real-time information, booking services, and a special feature allowing visitors to place immediate video/audio calls to support agents. The results for Achensee Tourism included a vastly improved customer experience, increased potential for cross-selling and bookings, and optimized operational costs, all while serving over 1.6 million visitors per year.
