NASUWT delivers a 3-day mindful exhibition for 700 delegates with Freshwater

Nasuwt, the Teachers’ Union, wanted to create a warm, wellbeing-focused experience for its first major in-person event following the pandemic. The challenge was to design an exhibition that promoted mindfulness and solidarity for 700 delegates, complete with essential recharge zones for a paper-free conference. To achieve this, they engaged vendor Freshwater for event management and design services.

Freshwater delivered a full event solution featuring a wellbeing zone housed in a tipi with activities like yoga, a "Soundbites" stage for talks, and various recharge areas with sensory props. They also created fresh branding for the exhibition. The event was extremely popular; delegates appreciated the charging zones and activities like coloring books and virtual reality gaming, which provided valuable networking opportunities and social media content.
