Woolrich Hunts for lost customers with Email Change of Address

Woolrich, a long-standing outdoor apparel manufacturer, faced the challenge of a growing number of inactive email addresses in its customer database. This made it difficult to maintain connections with loyal customers and was beginning to negatively impact their email sender reputation. To solve this, they turned to the vendor FreshAddress and its Email Change of Address (ECOA) service.

FreshAddress processed approximately 245,000 invalid addresses and achieved a 14% match rate, successfully updating over 28,000 records with deliverable email addresses. The re-engagement campaign to these "new" customers resulted in a 10% open rate and generated additional sales that more than covered the cost of the service, allowing Woolrich to win back former buyers.
