InterMedia Outdoors needed to rebuild its marketing reach after being acquired and losing access to most of Primedia’s circulation base, leaving it with email records for less than 10% of its postal list. To quickly grow its database and communicate more cost-effectively with subscribers, the company turned to FreshAddress for an email append solution.

FreshAddress performed an individual B2C email append using custom-branded permission messages and legal suppressions, returning fully opted-in, deliverable addresses. On a 3MM postal list, FreshAddress achieved a 14.6% match rate and appended 352,000 emails, growing InterMedia Outdoors’ database to 1,057,000 contacts, a 50% increase. The larger volume also helped cut the email service provider CPM from $2.80/M to $2.00/M, saving over $20,000.
