A FreshAddress Case Study
GrabCAD, an online engineering platform, needed to ensure its email list of 600,000 double opt-in members was completely clean before a major announcement to avoid deliverability issues and customer complaints. They turned to FreshAddress and used its SafeToSend deliverability solution to identify and remove any problematic email addresses from their database.
FreshAddress's SafeToSend service analyzed the list and identified that 85.8% of addresses were safe to send to, while 4% were unsafe. By only emailing the addresses deemed safe, GrabCAD achieved extremely low bounce rates of 0.4% and 1.4% on their campaign. This was a drastic improvement over a previous experience with a competitor, which had yielded a 20% bounce rate, and it protected GrabCAD's sender reputation.
