ToolStop increases sales 51k per month with Fresh Relevance

TOOLSTOP is a leading UK supplier of hand and power tools serving trade and DIY customers from a 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse near Glasgow. Although the retailer drove traffic with banner ads, AdWords and affiliates, its in-house cart‑abandonment emails were basic and insufficient to maximise conversions and repeat sales.

Fresh Relevance provided advanced cross‑channel engagement — smarter cart and browse abandonment emails, personalized product recommendations in marketing mail, and interactive elements (countdowns, social feeds) — and helped TOOLSTOP lift performance: 9,495 cart‑abandonment emails generated 2,279 return visits and 107 orders; 34,421 browse‑abandonment emails drove 2,785 visits and 27 orders; recommendations in marketing emails produced 37,422 opens and 295 orders. With an average order value of £120, TOOLSTOP increased turnover by about £51k per month and plans to roll recommendations out on the website.
