Älmhult Municipality Leveraging integrations to automate work and benefit residents

Älmhult Municipality, a public-sector organization in Småland serving about 18,000 residents, wanted to support a broader digitalization plan across welfare, education, employment, and community development. To do this, it needed to streamline and automate many processes, but its existing integrations were scattered across environments, custom-built, and heavily dependent on specific individuals. The municipality turned to Frends Enterprise iPaaS to unify its integration landscape.

With Frends Enterprise iPaaS, Älmhult Municipality has migrated away from custom solutions and now uses a single platform to move and refine data between systems, automate accounting file delivery, support e-services, and streamline onboarding and data warehouse workflows. After about 1.5 years, the municipality had around 30 integrations in production and about 200 in development, with shorter development times, lower barriers to starting new projects, improved processes, and better knowledge sharing across the organization.
