The Carolina Hurricanes hockey team partnered with R&D Brewing to launch Storm Brew, their first official beer. They faced the challenge of launching this new product and increasing its awareness across a growing distribution network, both on and off-premise. To meet this challenge, they engaged the vendor French West Vaughan for public relations, advertising, and digital services.

French West Vaughan implemented a comprehensive solution that included finalizing the product name, developing a dedicated landing page, and creating all in-arena branding. This included prominent placement throughout the PNC Arena, from logos on the ice to digital elements on ribbon banners and the main video board. Their work, which also incorporated media relations and a photoshoot with a player, supported the launch and drove increased brand awareness for every arena attendee, which in turn helped support sales at games.
