YWCA USA, a long-standing organization dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women, faced significant challenges in proactively managing its legacy giving program. Their approach was reactive, often only discovering bequests after a supporter's passing. To address this, they partnered with FreeWill to implement its Planned Giving Suite.

Through FreeWill, YWCA USA launched a free online will-making tool for its supporters and a national "Featureship" to be promoted as a beneficiary option. This solution streamlined their operations and significantly expanded their donor outreach. The partnership with FreeWill resulted in 132 new bequest commitments, totaling over $8 million in expected future gifts.
