The YMCA of Greater Richmond, a community-focused organization, had a planned giving program that had stalled. They needed a way to reignite growth and prompt action from their supporters. They partnered with FreeWill and implemented the Planned Giving Suite service to address this challenge.

Through the FreeWill partnership, the YMCA provided a free, co-branded online will creation tool. This solution made planned giving more accessible and helped the organization secure 134 primary bequest commitments valued at $1.2 million. FreeWill also helped the YMCA strengthen donor relationships and completely revive their planned giving program, all while aligning with their mission of providing equitable benefits to the community.
