Greenpeace Fund, a nonprofit organization, needed to maximize its fundraising growth from stock gifts. The challenge was that while they promoted stock donations, they lacked an easy method for donors to give stock online. This often resulted in anonymous gifts, making it difficult to properly thank and steward their supporters.
FreeWill addressed this by providing its Stock Tool, which created an easy online process for donors to give stock from home. This solution allowed Greenpeace Fund to collect donor contact information and quickly send thank-you letters, helping to build relationships for future giving. By implementing FreeWill, Greenpeace Fund raised $133,000 through 14 online stock gifts and saw immediate spikes in gifts and inquiries following their marketing campaigns.
