Case Study: St John’s Youth Services achieves a more accessible, future-ready brand and website with Freerange Future

A Freerange Future Case Study

St John’s Youth Services builds an accessible, future-ready website with Freerange Future and WCAG 2.0 standards

St John’s Youth Services, an organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness, needed to refresh its brand identity and develop a new, accessible website. Their challenge was to create a flexible, professional brand while avoiding the use of imagery featuring the youth they serve. They engaged Freerange Future to undertake this branding and website project using their Heartways methodology.

Freerange Future delivered a solution that retained key elements like the 'SJ' logo and purple color while enriching the brand with complementary colors, new fonts, and service badges. To overcome the imagery challenge, they commissioned unique illustrations. The resulting website is easy to navigate, features concise content with clear calls to action, and was built to meet WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. The client reported feeling supported and empowered, with a new brand and website that brings more energy to their mission and is ready for the future.
