Case Study: International Gas Union delivers a seamless global conference with Freeman

Fueling partnerships Bringing international exhibitors to the U.S.

International Gas Union (IGU) worked with Freeman to bring the World Gas Conference to Washington, D.C. for the first time in the U.S. Their challenge was helping international exhibitors navigate an unfamiliar American events market, including facility exclusives, pricing, regulations, labor union rules, time zones, and language and cultural differences.

Freeman supported the event with event strategy and business intelligence for conferences and trade shows, working closely with IGU, ETF, and local unions, including in-person planning sessions in Paris, visits to international shows, and educational sessions for exhibitors in Washington, D.C. The effort helped deliver a smooth event with 12,000 attendees, 350 exhibitors, and representation from 100 countries, earning strong praise for Freeman and its collaborators.
