Pet Heroes is a nonprofit animal rescue organization that runs shelter work, foster care, a charity e-shop, and educational outreach across multiple locations in the Czech Republic. As the team grew to around 20 people and started working remotely, coordination through chat and email became chaotic, so they looked for a more intuitive project management tool; they chose Freelo.

With Freelo, Pet Heroes centralized task tracking for animal cases, operations, campaigns, charity store workflows, and HR, using task histories, templates, and shared comments to keep everyone aligned. Freelo helped the team work more clearly and flexibly across cities, made it easier for others to step in when someone was absent, and supported 21 projects, 20 active users, more than 4,100 tasks, and over 22,000 task comments.
