How Sparta football team managed the change of visual identity in Freelo and how it continues to manage projects today

Sparta Football used Freelo to manage a complex, year-and-a-half-long change of visual identity across many teams and external partners. The club’s marketing department had been coordinating work by email and MS Teams, which made it hard to keep track of tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines for projects involving internal staff, agencies, designers, and other suppliers.

With Freelo, Sparta connected all key stakeholders in one place, assigned clear ownership, and kept the project moving with a dedicated coordinator. Freelo helped Sparta deliver the new logo, jerseys, merchandise, and custom font on time, and the club reports that project management is now much easier and more transparent; the visual rebrand was also a commercial success, with jersey sales doubling or tripling. Sparta continues to use Freelo for CSR and other marketing projects.
