The Hotchkiss School gains efficiencies and savings with Fraxion

The Hotchkiss School, an independent boarding school in Lakeville, Connecticut serving 599 students, struggled with manual, paper-based purchasing, multiple payment methods (corporate cards, check requests, 1099s), and limited integration with its accounting system. Seeking a solution that would integrate with Microsoft Dynamics GP and bring campus-wide visibility and control, the School implemented Fraxion’s procure-to-pay software, including PunchOut catalogs and invoice/approval functionality.

Fraxion was rolled out broadly, expanding user access, enabling PunchOut integrations with 14 vendors (including Amazon Business), automating multi-level approvals and invoice workflows, and syncing committed budgets in real time with GP. As a result, annual purchase orders rose from about 1,100 to over 3,000, the School consolidated vendor accounts, realized anecdotal savings (including $3,000 saved on a $15,000 machine and reported reductions up to 20%), and greatly improved audit readiness and spend visibility thanks to Fraxion.
