2Is Inc. developed the Operational Assessment Support Information System (OASIS) to verify ERP logistics outputs, detect anomalies across families of repair parts, and recommend corrective actions via a secure, web-based SaaS interface. The challenge was to validate raw ERP data, run production-rule diagnostics and forecasting for large part populations, and deliver fast, scalable access to users; the project was implemented using Lisp with vendor Franz Inc. technologies (AllegroCache, AllegroServe and Allegro WebActions) and Backbase AJAX components.

Franz Inc. supplied the Lisp-based platform and AllegroCache object database while 2Is built a parallel DAC (Data Acquisition and Crunching) worker architecture and a web management interface (OMCC) to distribute analysis. The combined solution reduced processing time from 50,000 parts in 20 hours (June 2007) to 60,000 parts in under 2 hours (Nov 2008), streams 20,000+ part populations to a browser in under a minute, and is architected to scale to millions of parts and hundreds of simultaneous users; OASIS is currently in test at the Defense Logistics Agency and a major defense contractor.
