PumpWorks 610 Group, a fluid-handling manufacturer, needed an easy online way for customers to find and specify pumps to compete effectively and grow quickly. Customers demanded a selector that worked without login roadblocks, and internally the company needed to reduce dependence on a few experts, eliminate misquotes, and speed quote production.
PumpWorks implemented FPX’s integrated Selector and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solution, launching the Electronic Pump On Demand (ePOD) self-serve UI and tying the selector into CPQ and BI tools. The result: customers can select and get accurate estimates online without logging in, application engineers produce more and faster proposals, pricing and configuration updates propagate instantly, and sales increased fifty-fold in four years.
