Hino Motors Sales U.S.A., the Toyota-owned commercial truck division that sells Class 6–7 medium-duty trucks through independent dealers, needed to replace an outdated, hard-to-maintain quoting process. The legacy system offered no pipeline visibility, slowed dealer quoting, produced inaccurate or inconsistent quotes (including performance calculations and graphs), and lacked integration with Hino.net for order creation and management.
Hino selected FPX’s off-the-shelf web-based CPQ solution, integrated with Hino.net, to let dealers configure, price and quote trucks while giving sales and marketing visibility for forecasting and win/loss analysis. The result: automated, faster and more accurate quotes with truck performance calculations and interactive 2D visualization, engineering rules that eliminate configuration errors, improved pipeline management and order handling, and a scalable, easy-to-maintain platform.
