Omnitracs is a global SaaS fleet-management company whose Intelligent Vehicle Gateway (IVG) electronic-logging device keeps fleets safe and compliant. Omnitracs needed IVG devices to receive, display and print PDF paperwork via Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) on a Compact OS — a capability their dispatchers required but that few PDF vendors supported.

Using the Foxit PDF SDK, Omnitracs implemented a C# PoC that integrated PDF viewing and advanced text search into the IVG MMS app. The result: full-quality PDF rendering, instant viewing and printing on demand, and searchable documents across hundreds of thousands of IVG devices — reducing delays, ensuring reliable delivery of forms and saving the business time and money.
